It’s no secret that people spend a lot of money on Christmas candy, cookies, fudge and sweets. I know I’ve already spent a small fortune on cookie ingredients alone, not counting all the candy and other sweets. It’s one of the things that goes with the season and I don’t think I know a single person who doesn’t make special treats or buy extra candy to savor and/or share with.
It’s official – now that Thanksgiving is over, the Christmas shopping season is here! I’m so excited about Christmas this year and can’t wait to get started on my shopping. Every family seems to have a slightly different tradition with the stockings. Do you open yours first, last, on Christmas Eve? In my family stockings come last, but in my husbands they come first, so we have an argument each.
Stocking stuffers are usually an assortment of candy, little knick knacks, and whatever else Santa may feel is suitable! I normally find little Santa shaped chocolates in my stocking, along with other delicious candies such as christmas tree shaped chocolate or chocolate covered peeps!
