I know, I know – we just did a summer BBQ post not too long ago.  But you know what?  This is a topic that could take up several posts if not warrant it’s own blog all together.  So get prepared for some more excellent ideas for summer BBQs and outdoor parties!

Here are some great photos from Pizzazzerie.com – I love the bright colors and the mod style font of the printables and banners.  This party also had a cool “caipirinha bar” – which is a Brazilian drink made with only a few ingredients but with lots of flavor possibilities.  To read about how to do this, click here.  The party was styled by Fête à Fête and you can purchase the party printables from their Etsy site here.

For such a colorful yet sophisticated BBQ theme, I recommend a simple, colorful and sophisticated candy buffet bar to go along with it.  I think the perfect candy for this BBQ would be yummy candy fruit slices.  You can buy them in individual flavors or get a big assortment pack in regular size or minis.  The rainbow colors and fruity flavor compliment a BBQ such as this one, don’t you think?  To give a hand-candy contrast to the gummy fruit slices, also offer a large bowl of Runts!

Another candy buffet suggestion that would stick with the mod style would be Candy ButtonsRainbow Whirly Pops or Unicorn Pops, and Rock Candy.  These candies really add a pop of color and flavor to any candy buffet or food table – they’re delicious to look at and delicious to taste!
